Finance Minister Smotrich Honors Ari Fuld: “A Fierce Warrior for Israel and Zionism”

At the Knesset, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich paid tribute to Ari Fuld on the 7th anniversary of his murder, hailing him as a fearless fighter for Israel at home and abroad.

During a Knesset plenary session on Monday afternoon, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich marked seven years since the murder of Ari Fuld, who was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist in Gush Etzion.

“Anyone who knew Ari knew what a fierce warrior he was for the justice of Israel’s path and for Zionism,” Smotrich said in his address. “He fought here in Israel and on the frontlines of advocacy abroad, doing exceptional work.”

Smotrich emphasized that Fuld’s legacy continues to inspire countless Israelis and lovers of Israel worldwide. “His loss is a great loss for us all, but first and foremost for his wife, his children, his parents, and his family. May his memory be avenged.”

Fuld, an American-Israeli activist, IDF veteran, and father of four, was renowned for his passionate defense of Israel on international platforms and his tireless efforts in supporting IDF soldiers and Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria. Even in his final moments, after being stabbed, he heroically pursued and shot his attacker, preventing further casualties.

Seven years on, Ari Fuld is remembered not only as a victim of terror but as a symbol of courage, dedication, and unwavering love for Israel.
