Lindsey Graham to Hamas: Accept Trump’s Peace Plan or Face Consequences

With Israel and the Arab world on board, Senator Lindsey Graham warns Hamas that Trump’s “take it or leave it” peace plan is their final chance to release hostages and avoid total destruction.

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) issued a blunt ultimatum to Hamas: accept President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan to end the Gaza war—or face the consequences.

“The ball is now in Hamas’ court,” Graham wrote on X. “This is a ‘take it or leave it’ proposal. I hope Hamas chooses wisely and quickly.”

The Trump plan—already accepted by Israel and endorsed by Arab and Muslim nations—calls for the release of all hostages, demilitarization of Hamas, and long-term regional guarantees for peace.

Pressure on Qatar

Graham also turned up the heat on Qatar, Hamas’ longtime host. “If Hamas rejects the plan, I expect Qatar to expel their leadership. Anything less would send a terrible signal,” he warned.

Qatar has played a central role in brokering the deal with Egyptian mediation, but the U.S. Senator insisted that Hamas cannot be allowed safe haven if it refuses peace.

Hamas on the Edge

While CBS News reported Hamas is leaning toward acceptance, internal voices within the terror group remain defiant. One official told Russian media that disarmament is “impossible”, while others claimed the plan was “biased toward Israel.”

Despite the rhetoric, diplomatic sources suggest Hamas could deliver a formal response to mediators as early as Wednesday.

Trump’s Deadline

Speaking to reporters Tuesday, President Trump gave Hamas three to four days to decide.
“All the Arab countries have signed up. The Muslim countries have signed up. Israel’s signed up. We’re just waiting for Hamas,” Trump said.

“Hamas is either gonna be doing it or not,” he added. “If it’s not, it’s going to be a very sad end.”
