“Trump Signs Historic Gaza Peace Deal in Sharm el-Sheikh: ‘The Granddaddy of Them All’ Marks New Era for the Middle East”

At Sharm el-Sheikh, President Donald Trump joins Arab leaders to seal the Gaza Peace Deal — ending years of bloodshed and inaugurating a new Middle East order.

In a ceremony charged with history and hope, U.S. President Donald J. Trump joined the leaders of Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday for the formal signing of the Gaza Peace Deal — a landmark agreement that closes one of the bloodiest chapters in the region’s history and anchors Israel’s hard-won victory in lasting stability.

Before an audience of diplomats, generals, and world media, Trump declared:

“It’s a tremendous day for the Middle East. This may be the greatest assemblage of countries in terms of wealth and power ever brought together — and it’s an honor to be part of it.”

The signing comes just hours after the final 20 living Israeli hostages were returned home — a moment the President hailed as “proof that peace through strength works.”

“The hostages were let go on time, on schedule,” Trump said solemnly. “What’s sad are the lives lost — the bodies still being located — but what’s not sad is that, finally, after thousands of years of conflict, we’ve reached the one… the granddaddy of them all.”

The agreement — crafted under intense U.S. mediation with Israel’s full security backing — establishes a demilitarized Gaza, guarantees regional normalization, and commits Arab states to prevent Hamas’ resurgence. Israeli defense sources describe it as “the most comprehensive security framework since the founding of the State.”

Throughout the summit, Trump held brief consultations with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, signaling potential for limited PA administrative involvement under strict international oversight — a move designed to maintain order while ensuring Israel’s absolute security control.

Although Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was originally scheduled to attend, his absence due to Simchat Torah only underscored Israel’s spiritual foundations behind its political triumph. In Jerusalem, Netanyahu’s office issued a statement of gratitude:

“This peace was achieved through strength, not surrender — and through partnership with our greatest ally, the United States.”

As the leaders signed the documents beneath the Egyptian sun, applause rippled through the hall. For Israel, this was more than a diplomatic milestone — it was the culmination of courage, sacrifice, and divine justice.

Trump’s peace, unlike any before it, is forged in victory, not illusion. The war is over. The hostages are home. The region has turned a page — and Israel stands stronger than ever before.
