“Gideon Sa’ar Warns Germany: ‘A Palestinian State = A Hamas Terror State — Israel Will Never Allow It’”

Gideon Sa’ar rejects any Palestinian state, warning European leaders it would become another Hamas-run terror entity threatening Israel’s existence.

Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar delivered a blistering, unapologetic message to 160 German opinion makers visiting Israel: a Palestinian state will never happen—because it would instantly become a Hamas terror state on Israel’s doorstep.

Sa’ar said the global push—especially from Europe—to force the creation of such a state reflects a “new obsession” detached from any geopolitical reality.

“We are facing three terror states in the Middle East,” he warned.
“These are not merely terror groups—when they control land and populations, they become terror states. Just as neo-Nazi cells are not the same as the Nazi regime.”

He cited Hamas-controlled Gaza, Hezbollah-ruled Lebanon, and Iran-backed Yemen as living examples of territory transformed into extremist fiefdoms threatening regional stability.

Then Sa’ar delivered his most pointed message:

“And now, after October 7th, some are suggesting we establish another terror state—two kilometers from where we are sitting. A Palestinian state overlooking all of Israel’s population centers.
Such an experiment would end exactly as the others: in terrorism.”

His comments come just hours before the UN Security Council votes on a US-backed resolution promoting President Donald Trump’s new Gaza peace framework—a proposal criticized in Israel for embedding steps toward Palestinian statehood.

Israeli ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich demanded that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu oppose the resolution outright. Netanyahu reiterated Sunday that Israel’s red line remains unshakable:

“Our opposition to a Palestinian state on any part of this territory has not changed in the slightest.”

As global pressure mounts, Israel’s leadership is drawing a clear line in the sand: No more terror states. Not on Israel’s borders. Not again.
