Israel Warns Hamas: Continued Military Build-Up Will Trigger Decisive Gaza Operation Despite Global Pressure

Security Cabinet signals new Gaza action as Hamas re-arms and Hezbollah escalates under collapsing Arab regimes.

Israel’s Security Cabinet delivered a stark message this week: if Hamas continues rebuilding its terror infrastructure in Gaza, Israel will have no choice but to launch another military operation—regardless of international hesitation.

Kan 11 News reported Friday that during a tense Cabinet meeting the previous evening, the defense establishment presented ministers with fresh intelligence illustrating Hamas’s renewed military growth. The data showed that despite ceasefire talks and global diplomatic pressure, Hamas is expanding its operational capabilities, strengthening politically, and openly refusing to disarm.

A senior Israeli official was crystal clear:
“If the Americans cannot force Hamas to disarm, we will take action ourselves. We have the credit to do it.”

This is the stark reality: Hamas—revitalized, rearming, and emboldened by Arab support—once again threatens Israel’s southern communities, proving that temporary pauses or international guarantees will never produce lasting security.

But the threat extends beyond Gaza. The defense establishment also showed alarming indicators of Hezbollah’s growing strength in Lebanon. The Lebanese government remains utterly incapable of enforcing the ceasefire, serving merely as a façade while Hezbollah operates freely, backed by Iran. Israel continues precision strikes in southern Lebanon, withholding action in Beirut only at Washington’s request.

Cabinet ministers emphasized that the northern arena is following the same trajectory as Gaza: unchecked terror buildup leading inevitably to confrontation.

As one minister reportedly said,
“Just like in Gaza, southern Lebanon will require surgical treatment. The question is not if—but when.”

The message is unmistakable:
Israel will not allow terrorist armies—whether Hamas or Hezbollah—to regroup, rearm, or threaten Israeli civilians. If international actors fail to enforce disarmament, Israel will act alone, decisively and unapologetically.
