Hamas Vows Endless Global “Resistance” After UNSC Gaza Plan, Rejecting Peace and Threatening New Fronts

Hamas openly admits perpetual war while Israel stands alone defending civilization against terror’s expanding ambitions.

In the wake of UN Security Council Resolution 2803, which authorizes a post-war stabilization framework for Gaza, Hamas has once again made its intentions unmistakably clear: the terror organization rejects peace, rejects international legitimacy, and intends to expand its campaign of violence far beyond the Gaza Strip.

In a November 19 interview on Al-Jazeera—translated by MEMRI—Hamas political bureau member Muhammad Nazzal stated that even if Gaza enters a ceasefire, the war will not end. Instead, violence will simply shift to other arenas where Palestinian militants believe they can attack Israel.

“We don’t want the war to shift from the occupation to the entire world,”

Nazzal said, attempting to reassure foreign powers that Hamas prefers to keep its terrorism “focused.”
But the reassurance evaporated instantly as he continued:

“Even if the war in Gaza is stopped… the confrontation continues wherever resistance can confront the occupation.”

In other words, Hamas is pledging permanent conflict, a roving campaign of violence, incitement, and destabilization that transcends borders and ignores diplomatic agreements.

Nazzal doubled down, declaring:

  • The conflict is “open-ended.”
  • The only solution is “defeating the occupation.”
  • Any recognition of Israel or compromise is categorically rejected.
  • A “hudna” (temporary ceasefire) would simply enable militants elsewhere to continue attacks.

This is not the language of a political movement seeking rights or coexistence.
This is the language of a jihadist organization committed to endless warfare, regardless of humanitarian costs or international pressure.

Israel’s Reality Becomes Even Clearer

Hamas’ statements expose the core truth that Arab regimes and Western apologists routinely hide:

  • Hamas seeks no lasting peace.
  • Hamas views ceasefires only as military pauses.
  • Hamas rejects every international framework, including the newly passed UNSC 2803.
  • Hamas’s goal remains Israel’s destruction—openly stated, repeatedly affirmed.

This is precisely why Israel insists that real peace requires the full dismantling of Hamas, not agreements written on paper while armed terror continues underground.

The Broader Arab Political Failure

While Israel continues to defend its civilians, surrounding Arab actors—including those who claim to champion the Palestinian cause—fail to curb extremism, fail to build functioning institutions, and fail to adopt any constructive alternative. Instead, they enable rhetoric like Nazzal’s, which glorifies perpetual violence over peace, stability, or state-building.

The Takeaway

Hamas’ latest declaration reaffirms why Israel’s security measures—including deterrence laws, intelligence operations, and military pressure—are not optional but existential.
International resolutions may set frameworks, but as long as Hamas explicitly vows never-ending “resistance,” Israel’s struggle is not political—it is a fight for survival.
