US–Israel alliance hardens as terror faces disarmament or destruction, signaling zero tolerance for Islamist aggression.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, in a high-stakes meeting that delivered some of the strongest public warnings yet to Hamas, Iran, and regional destabilizers.
Speaking at a joint press conference, President Trump issued a blunt ultimatum to the Hamas terrorist organization: disarm or face devastating consequences. “If they don’t disarm—then there will be hell to pay,” Trump said, emphasizing that Hamas had already agreed to disarm and would face catastrophic outcomes if it reneged. “It’ll be horrible for them—really, really bad.”
Trump reiterated that moving to Phase 2 of the Gaza peace plan must be conditioned on Hamas’s full disarmament, making clear that there will be no political progress while a jihadist terror army remains intact.
Turning to Iran, Trump warned that any renewed nuclear escalation would be met with overwhelming force. In a pointed remark referencing long-range U.S. strike capabilities, he said he hoped Tehran was not rebuilding its nuclear program—but added unequivocally that if it was, “we’ll knock the hell out of them.” When asked directly whether he would support an Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear and missile infrastructure if diplomacy fails, Trump answered without hesitation: “Yes. Immediately.”
On regional normalization, Trump expressed confidence that Abraham Accords would expand, stating that Saudi Arabia would eventually join. On Judea and Samaria, he acknowledged ongoing discussions with Israel, saying both sides would “come to a conclusion,” even if not in total agreement.
Trump also praised Netanyahu in exceptional terms, calling him a “war-time prime minister” who led Israel through existential danger. “If you had the wrong prime minister, Israel would not exist right now,” Trump said. “We worked together and we were extremely victorious.”
Netanyahu responded by calling Trump Israel’s greatest-ever ally in the White House, saying his leadership benefits not only Israel, but the entire free world.
The meeting sent a clear message: terror will be dismantled, Iran will be stopped, and Israel will not stand alone.
