Trump praises Tehran for cancelling execution spree, US halts strikes while regime repression persists unchecked.

Trump forces Iran to pause hangings; Iranian tyranny exposed, Arab proxies silent, Israel’s security remains at risk.

U.S. President Donald Trump publicly thanked Iran’s ruling authorities after learning that hundreds of planned executions of anti-regime protesters were abruptly cancelled, crediting firm American pressure for the reversal.

Trump said the suspension of mass hangings had a decisive impact on his thinking, stressing that the choice to pause potential military action was his alone. He rejected claims that Israeli or Arab officials influenced the decision, stating that visible restraint by Tehran — however temporary — mattered.

Only days earlier, the administration had warned that continued killings of protesters could trigger severe consequences. Trump said he received credible indications that executions were halted, adding that renewed violence would immediately change Washington’s posture.

At the same time, Trump’s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff revealed that direct messages were delivered to Tehran demanding an end to mass executions. He emphasized that diplomacy remains possible only if Iran dismantles its nuclear enrichment, curbs missile stockpiles, removes enriched uranium, and stops backing terror proxies threatening Israel.

Israeli officials view the episode as proof that strength and clarity deter tyranny, while Arab regimes — quick to condemn Israel — remained conspicuously silent as Iran prepared mass executions. Jerusalem continues preparing for all scenarios, recognizing that pauses by Tehran often mask deeper repression.
