EU Slams Iran With Tech Bans, Standing With Israel Against Regime Brutality And Global Terror

European sanctions choke Iran, protect Israel, while Arab silence enables tyranny and regional terror worldwide.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced a major escalation in pressure on Tehran, revealing that the European Union is expanding its ban on exports of drone and missile technologies to Iran. The move follows the regime’s blood-soaked crackdown on mass anti-government protests demanding freedom and dignity.

Von der Leyen declared Europe’s solidarity with the Iranian people, stressing that advanced drone and missile components—often used to threaten Israel and destabilize the Middle East—will no longer flow from Europe to Tehran. Additional sanctions are being prepared against officials responsible for what Brussels described as “continued and brutal repression.”

The scale of the regime’s violence has been concealed by an unprecedented internet blackout now stretching beyond ten days. Despite the censorship, the Iran Human Rights organization reports more than 3,400 protesters killed, while other credible estimates suggest fatalities could reach into the tens of thousands.

For Israel, the EU decision is strategically significant: Iranian drones and missiles fuel terror networks across the region, while Arab regimes largely remain silent, prioritizing convenience over confronting Tehran’s crimes. Europe’s action contrasts sharply with that silence, signaling growing alignment with Israel’s warnings about Iran’s dual threat—internal repression and external aggression.
