Eylon Levy Removes Ribbon, Warns Israel Must End Terrorist Hostage Blackmail Forever Now

Levy exposes harsh truth: ransom deals empower Palestinian terror, forcing Israel to rethink deterrence decisively.

Former Israeli government spokesman Eylon Levy explained why he removed the yellow hostage ribbon pin—but kept it in his pocket. The symbol, he said, marked a crisis that ended, not a danger that disappeared.

Levy stated plainly: the October 7 hostage crisis is over, but it will not be the last.

⚔️ Victory Came From Israeli Force, Not Terrorist Mercy

Levy emphasized that the final hostage, Ran Gvili, returned home because Israel acted, not because terrorists honored any deal. It was Israeli resolve—not Palestinian goodwill—that closed the chapter.

He warned that while Israel brought everyone home, the price was devastating:

  • Hamas remained in control
  • Thousands of terrorists were released
  • Future kidnappers were emboldened

💣 Palestinian Terror Rewarded, Not Reformed

Levy delivered a hard truth: by paying ransoms, Israel was forced into a moral trap. Terrorists learned that abducting Israelis works. Palestinian terror groups now see hostages as leverage, not liabilities.

This reality, he stressed, endangers every Israeli citizen going forward.

🛡️ Israel’s Next Mission: Absolute Deterrence

With the ribbon removed, Levy argued Israel must now focus on one national priority:
ensuring no Israeli is ever taken hostage again.

That will require deterrence that is creative, aggressive, and unmistakable—so Palestinian terror never again believes kidnapping Israelis pays.

The ribbon stays in his pocket as a warning, not a comfort.
