Nation mourns brave soldiers while military presses forward, reaffirming resilience and commitment to defending Israel’s security.
Israel is mourning the loss of four IDF soldiers who fell during combat operations in southern Lebanon, as the military continues its ongoing efforts to neutralize threats along its northern front. The fallen include Captain Noam Madmoni, Staff Sergeant Ben Cohen, and Staff Sergeant Maxsim Entis, all serving in the Nahal Reconnaissance Battalion, with the name of a fourth soldier yet to be released.
The incident also left additional soldiers wounded, including one in severe condition and another moderately injured, both of whom were evacuated for medical treatment. Families have been notified as the nation absorbs the heavy cost of continued security operations.
This follows the recent loss of Sergeant Liran Ben Zion, who also fell in combat in southern Lebanon, underscoring the intensity of ongoing engagements. Despite the sacrifices, Israel’s defense forces remain steadfast in their mission, reflecting a broader national resolve to protect its citizens and confront persistent threats with determination.
