Netanyahu warns Trump against Iran ceasefire as nuclear threat demands decisive and uncompromising action now

Israel pushes firm stance while US sets strict nuclear red lines, exposing Iran’s dangerous ambitions.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a direct phone conversation with US President Donald Trump, voicing strong concern over the possibility of a ceasefire agreement with Iran and emphasizing the risks of easing pressure on the regime.

According to reports, the discussion was described as warm and constructive, beginning with Netanyahu congratulating Trump on the successful rescue of an American F-15 crew member from Iranian territory. The exchange then shifted to the critical issue of ongoing negotiations with Tehran.

Netanyahu reportedly stressed that any premature ceasefire could allow the Iranian regime to regroup and continue advancing its military and nuclear ambitions. He underscored the importance of maintaining firm pressure to ensure that Iran’s capabilities are not merely paused but decisively dismantled.

Trump clarified that a ceasefire remains conditional on Iran fully complying with strict US demands. Central among these conditions is the requirement that Iran surrender all enriched uranium and accept a permanent ban on uranium enrichment, effectively blocking any pathway to nuclear weapons development.

At the same time, Trump reinforced his administration’s readiness to escalate if necessary. In public remarks following Iran’s rejection of a temporary ceasefire proposal, he warned that the United States retains the capability to deliver overwhelming force, stating that Iran could face devastating consequences if it fails to meet the outlined conditions.

The conversation reflects close coordination between Washington and Jerusalem, while also highlighting Israel’s insistence that any diplomatic outcome must eliminate the nuclear threat entirely rather than delay it. Netanyahu’s position signals a continued push for decisive measures to ensure long-term security and prevent Iran from reestablishing its strategic capabilities.
