Foiled Synagogue Massacre Plot Exposes Deadly Antisemitic Threat Against Jews In Houston Campus Attack Case

Authorities say a planned synagogue attack was stopped before bloodshed, protecting Jewish worshippers and children..

An 18-year-old North Carolina woman has been jailed on a $10 million bond after prosecutors accused her of joining a plot to attack Congregation Beth Israel in Houston and “kill as many Jews as possible.” Court records allege the plan involved driving into a synagogue congregation, with two alleged co-conspirators still unidentified and at large.

The FBI said a tip triggered a rapid multi-agency response involving offices in Charlotte and Houston, alongside local law enforcement. Officials said the target included a Jewish school connected to the synagogue campus, prompting temporary closure as a precaution. The case remains under investigation, while the suspect is due back in court in May.
