Iranian Drone Barrage Against UAE Crushed As Air Defenses Shield Nation From Massive Attack Attempt

Iranian regime’s reckless drone and missile assault fails as strong defenses neutralize overwhelming majority of threats.

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense released dramatic footage on Sunday showing its air defense systems intercepting and destroying Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles that attempted to strike the country. The footage highlights the scale of the Iranian aggression and the effectiveness of the UAE’s defensive response.

According to the ministry, the Emirati military has faced an intense wave of aerial threats since Iran began launching attacks across the region last week. A total of 1,422 drones were detected approaching the country. Air defense systems successfully intercepted 1,342 of those UAVs, while 80 managed to impact on land.

The report also detailed the ballistic missile threat launched by the Iranian regime. Out of 238 ballistic missiles detected by defense systems, 221 were intercepted before reaching their targets. Fifteen missiles landed harmlessly in the sea, and only two struck land inside the country.

Iran also launched cruise missiles toward the UAE, but the Emirati military neutralized the entire salvo. All eight cruise missiles fired at the country were intercepted before they could reach their targets.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that protecting the nation remains the highest priority and warned that the armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any further aggression. In an official statement, the ministry declared that there is no compromise when it comes to national security and sovereignty and affirmed that the UAE Armed Forces remain ready to deter and defeat any threat.
