Families of fallen Israelis warn humanitarian supplies are strengthening Hamas while endangering soldiers and southern Israeli communities daily..
The Gvura Forum, representing more than 300 bereaved Israeli families, has issued an urgent appeal to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanding the immediate suspension of humanitarian aid trucks entering the Gaza Strip.
In a strongly worded letter, the families warned that Hamas continues rebuilding its military and governing infrastructure by exploiting the steady flow of goods entering Gaza, describing the aid shipments as “oxygen” that enables the terrorist organization to recover and re-establish operational control across the territory.
The forum reminded Netanyahu of repeated commitments made by the Israeli government since the beginning of the war, pledging that Hamas would never again pose a threat to Israeli citizens and that military operations would continue until the terrorist organization was fully dismantled.
“You have pledged to us and to the Israeli public time and again that Hamas would never again pose a threat to the State of Israel, and that we would not stop until Hamas is dismantled,” the families wrote.
The bereaved families expressed deep concern that despite those assurances, Hamas is steadily regaining strength while Israeli forces remain heavily engaged across multiple security fronts throughout the region.
According to the forum, supplies entering Gaza are being systematically exploited by Hamas for military rehabilitation, logistical support, and financial gain. The families argued that goods transferred into the Strip are rapidly converted into resources that strengthen terrorist operations against Israel.
“We, the bereaved families, cannot accept a reality where the Hamas terror organization — or any other terror group — remains in control of Gaza and continues to endanger Israel’s security,” the letter stated.
The forum directly urged Netanyahu to order an immediate halt to what they described as “terror goods,” warning that every truck entering Gaza ultimately increases the danger faced by IDF soldiers and residents of southern Israel.
The families concluded by calling on the government to remain uncompromising in its security policies and honor the sacrifices of fallen Israelis by ensuring Hamas is fully defeated and prevented from rebuilding its operational capabilities.
“We owe this to our heroic fallen, and to the citizens of Israel who wish to live in safety,” the letter concluded.
The appeal reflects growing pressure within Israel from families affected by Hamas terrorism who fear that international aid mechanisms are being manipulated by the terror organization while the war continues.
