Trump Declares Iran Militarily Crushed As US Keeps Nuclear Sites Under Threat Of Overwhelming Force

America reinforces Israel’s security as Trump warns Tehran’s nuclear ambitions could trigger further devastating strikes.

US President Donald Trump said Iran has been “militarily defeated,” while warning that the conflict may still continue if further action is required.

Speaking in an interview with Full Measure host Sharyl Attkisson, Trump said Iran had suffered major damage to its military infrastructure and leadership. He claimed Tehran no longer has an effective navy, air force, air-defense network, radar capability, or senior command structure.

Trump said Iran may not fully accept the scale of its defeat, but insisted that from a military standpoint, the country would need many years to rebuild. He estimated that if the United States stopped operations now, Iran could take up to 20 years to restore its capabilities.

The President also warned that Washington would not allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon. Discussing Iran’s enriched uranium, Trump said the site remains under close American surveillance and claimed any attempt to approach it would be detected immediately.

Pressed on whether combat operations were over, Trump said Iran was defeated but “not done,” adding that the US could continue striking targets for another two weeks if necessary. He claimed about 70 percent of planned targets had already been destroyed.

Trump defended US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, saying they prevented Tehran from reaching nuclear breakout capability. He argued that such action was essential to protect Israel and regional allies including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE.

He also criticized the Obama-era Iran nuclear deal, claiming Iran would have obtained and used nuclear weapons against Israel and the Middle East had the agreement remained in place.
