White House Slams Tucker Carlson After Netanyahu War Claim Sparks Fierce Pro-Israel Pushback From Washington

Trump administration defends Israel alliance, rejecting Carlson’s claims and reaffirming pressure against Iran’s nuclear threat.

The White House sharply criticized Tucker Carlson on Wednesday after he claimed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had dragged the United States into war with Iran.

In a statement to Israel’s Channel 13 News, the White House rejected Carlson’s accusation and stressed that President Donald Trump has long maintained that Iran must never be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.

The statement emphasized Israel’s role as a strong American ally, particularly during Operations Midnight Hammer and Epic Fury, which targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities and defense industrial capabilities. The White House said Trump took bold and decisive action to protect the American people, addressing a threat that previous presidents had discussed for decades but failed to confront with the same force.

Carlson, in his Channel 13 interview, launched a harsh attack on Netanyahu, calling him a poor and unwise leader and accusing him of leading Israel toward destruction. He also argued that America’s relationship with Israel was damaging the United States and called for all American aid and special arrangements with Israel to end.

He further accused Trump of weakness, claiming Netanyahu had pushed him into a war that harmed American interests. The remarks mark another escalation in Carlson’s public break with Trump and his increasingly hostile stance toward Israel.

The White House response framed Carlson’s claims as a distortion of Trump’s long-standing position on Iran, making clear that Washington views Israel as a vital ally in confronting Tehran’s nuclear ambitions and regional aggression.
