Israel Report Accuses UN Agencies Of Laundering Hamas Data And Fueling Global Antisemitism

Diaspora Ministry warns UN bodies betrayed neutrality, turning humanitarian language into weapon against Israel worldwide”

Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism has launched a new website presenting an analytical report on the conduct of UN agencies during the war in Gaza.

According to the ministry, the report is based on thousands of briefings, newsletters and official publications issued by UN bodies throughout the conflict.

The ministry says the findings expose an institutional, systematic and deliberate failure by several UN agencies, including OCHA, the World Health Organization and UN Women. It argues that these bodies repeatedly promoted a one-sided narrative against Israel while ignoring Hamas’s exploitation of civilians.

A central accusation in the report is “data laundering.” The ministry claims that numbers and allegations originating from Hamas-controlled sources were adopted by UN agencies and then presented internationally as verified facts.

The report also alleges that UN agencies published incomplete humanitarian aid figures, while more accurate data was later updated internally but not properly reflected in public messaging.

Israel further accuses UN bodies of failing to confront Hamas’s use of civilian infrastructure, the hijacking of aid and the continued captivity of hostages in Gaza.

The ministry sharply criticized statements by senior UN officials, including remarks attributed to UN relief chief Tom Fletcher warning that thousands of babies could die within 48 hours. Israel says such claims distorted data and created a misleading global narrative.

Minister Amichai Chikli said the UN has betrayed its mandate and become complicit in Hamas propaganda. He warned that institutionalized lies about Israel fuel antisemitism worldwide and place Jews in danger.
