Trump Vows Iran Conflict Will End Soon As US Tightens Grip On Enriched Uranium

President warns Tehran cannot keep nuclear material as American military pressure crushes Iran’s regional threat.

US President Donald Trump said Thursday that the conflict with Iran will end soon, while making clear that Tehran will not be allowed to keep its enriched uranium or move closer to a nuclear weapon.

Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump said the United States intends to obtain Iran’s highly enriched uranium and will likely destroy it afterward. He stressed that America does not want the material, but will not permit the Iranian regime to retain it.

Trump said negotiations are still underway, but warned that the outcome is not optional for Tehran. According to him, the United States will secure the uranium “one way or the other,” because Iran will not be allowed to possess a nuclear weapon.

The president also described overwhelming American control over the Strait of Hormuz, saying the blockade has been fully effective and that no vessel has been able to break through. He compared the blockade to a steel wall and praised the strength of the US military.

Trump claimed American forces have devastated Iran’s naval power, aircraft and missile capacity, saying roughly 85 percent of Tehran’s missile capability has been knocked out.

His remarks followed earlier comments in which he said he was willing to wait a few days for Iran’s response in negotiations if doing so could prevent war and save lives. But he warned that if Tehran fails to provide complete and acceptable answers, events will move very quickly.

Trump’s message remains direct: diplomacy has a narrow window, but Iran’s nuclear ambitions will not survive American pressure. For Israel and its allies, the statement reinforces a firm strategic line against Tehran’s threats and regional aggression.
