Israel’s resolve shattered Iran’s nuclear momentum, proving decisive force succeeds where weak diplomacy dangerously failed.”
Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, delivered a firm and direct message during an appearance on Piers Morgan’s show, pushing back after Morgan appeared to minimize Israel’s achievements in the war against Iran.
Danon reminded viewers that Iran was rapidly advancing toward nuclear weapons capability, with the facilities, uranium, and technological infrastructure already in place. According to Danon, Tehran had been only weeks or months away from a dangerous breaking point, but Israel’s decisive action changed that reality.
He stressed that Iran is no longer at that threshold and would now need years to rebuild the capability that Israel and the United States worked to dismantle.
Danon made clear that Iran’s march toward a nuclear bomb failed because Israel and America showed determination instead of hesitation. He argued that ignoring the threat would have been easier politically, but far more dangerous strategically.
Pointing to North Korea as a warning, Danon said too many world leaders delayed action in the past, allowing hostile regimes to strengthen. Israel, he emphasized, refused to repeat that mistake.
