Tehran’s mass hangings reveal a collapsing regime using fear after confronting Israel and America militarily..
Iran’s theocratic regime has reportedly driven global executions to their highest recorded level in decades, with more than 2,150 people put to death in a single year. The staggering figure highlights how Tehran’s rulers are using the gallows as a weapon of intimidation, especially after military confrontation with Israel and rising internal unrest.
According to Amnesty International’s annual findings, at least 2,707 executions were recorded worldwide in 2025, excluding China’s hidden figures. Iran alone accounted for 2,159 executions, more than doubling its previous year’s total and exposing the regime’s dependence on fear, repression, and public terror to maintain control.
The surge followed the June 2025 war against Israel and continued amid protests and regional escalation involving the United States. Rights groups warn that minorities, dissidents, and vulnerable communities remain heavily targeted.
The numbers reveal a regime that threatens Israel abroad while crushing its own people at home.
