Iran Media Claims Trump May Announce Deal As White House Rejects Tehran’s Narrative

Washington warns against Iranian propaganda while insisting any agreement must dismantle nuclear threat”

Iranian media claimed Wednesday evening that President Donald Trump may soon unilaterally announce the completion of an agreement between the United States and Iran, even as the White House sharply rejected reports coming from Tehran.

Iran’s state broadcasting authority reported that a draft memorandum of understanding had been formulated between the two countries. According to the Iranian version, the framework includes the withdrawal of all American military forces from the region and the full removal of the naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for restoring international maritime traffic.

The White House dismissed the claims, warning that no one should believe what is being published in Iranian media and stressing that facts, not regime messaging, are what matter.

Iranian outlets went further, claiming that management of the Strait of Hormuz would be handled exclusively through cooperation between Iran and Oman, including shipping routes and maritime administration, effectively sidelining American influence over one of the world’s most critical oil corridors.

The reports come amid signs that negotiations have slowed sharply. Recent reports indicated that talks between Washington and Tehran have reached a temporary impasse due to major disagreements over Iran’s nuclear program and the scale of sanctions relief demanded by the regime.

The United States is seeking strict, verifiable guarantees that Iran will halt its nuclear program and reduce uranium enrichment activities. American officials are also concerned that Tehran may try to use a partial agreement to win economic relief while delaying real nuclear dismantlement.

For Israel and its allies, the danger is clear: Iran cannot be allowed to turn negotiations into a trap, escape pressure, reopen Hormuz on its terms and preserve a fast path to nuclear weapons.
