In a powerful statement on Tuesday, Defense Minister Israel Katz declared that Israel has entered an unprecedented era of strength and security, free from the existential threats that once loomed large. He credited this dramatic transformation to the elimination of Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei, whom he identified as the mastermind behind long-standing plans to destroy Israel, along with the success of major military campaigns “Like a Lion” and “Rising Lion.”
According to Katz, these operations have dealt a severe blow to Iran’s nuclear ambitions, significantly degrading its capacity to develop nuclear weapons. However, he cautioned that the mission is not yet complete, noting that Iran still possesses enriched material that could reignite its nuclear program.
